Chevrolet Suburban 2007 - 2014 Up/Down Power Seat All Steel Gear Kit

Chevrolet Suburban Up/Down Adjustment Motor  Gear replacement Kit.
 
If your gears are stripped, you can reuse your motor and just replace the shaft and gears with this steel kit.  This kit uses a small metal worm gear and a large steel gear mounted on a custom machined shaft.
 
You will need to use the provided front thrust washers and your factory rear thrust washer. The small thrust washer on the small worm gear must also be reused along with your factory tube nut.

Two metal gears meshing together causes a different gear whine.  Watch both videos to hear the noise difference between a factory style plastic worm gear versus the steel one. The steel on steel has a different whine than the plastic on metal.
